Bearville Township T.61N.-R.22W.(North) and T.60N. – R.22W. (South) is located in the far northeast part Itasca County. Early settlers started homesteading in 1901 drawn by the large pine forests. Bearville was established as an organized township in 1906, although it is reported that the first Town Board meeting was held in 1904.
